Cru's senior management offer more than 100 years combined experience in their respective fields.

The team boast a portfolio of successful and varied works and are well versed in a wide range of development and construction capabilities. Cru offer a highly skilled project management team in the apartment sector, a multi award winning low rise construction division, delivering numerous town home estates and luxury villa projects, as well as senior personnel experienced in both construction and management of boutique commercial retail centres. The groups finance, sales and construction team members and support networks have worked on some of the largest projects in Queensland and between them have been responsible for the delivery of thousands of award winning homes and apartments across the state.


Chris Bolger

Managing Director

Managing Director Chris Bolger specialises in business strategy, corporate development and financial analysis, as well as overseeing all aspects of the business operation. Chris holds a Masters Degree in Property Development, as well as a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in International Business and Finance.  Chris commenced his property career with a global ASX international developer, working on projects in excess of $1.5 billion.  In 2009 Chris launched his first development company (Onyx Property Group) with a modest collection of medium density projects located in premium growth corridors of South East Queensland. The company went from strength to strength and during its 7 year tenure won multiple awards in the construction and development industry.  Chris held an executive committee member role with the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) from 2011 to 2013 and is an ongoing member of the organisation. He is a fully licenced estate agent with Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) and a member of Master Builders Association Queensland. During his career Chris has formed extensive relationships with Australia's leading contractors, consultants, financial institutions and private equity firms, and worked with both national and international joint venture partners.

Teek Ireland

Head of Sales & Marketing

Head of Sales & Marketing for Cru, Teek was formerly the Director of her own marketing and public relations agency, specialising in tourism,  boutique property developments and luxury 5 star hospitality. With 15 years’ experience in senior sales, media and marketing positions, along with several successful years running her own business, Teek is well heeled in strategic marketing and communications and currently manages a property portfolio in excess of $125 million for the group.  A licenced estate agent with REIQ Queensland, former committee member of the Young Professionals Gold Coast as well as a former Committee Member of the League of Extraordinary Women, Teek has a strong network across multiple industries.  In addition to the management of the Sales and Marketing for Cru Collective, Teek also liaises daily with Cru Construct and various consultants in regards to design and development, customer care and project delivery.


Mark Lacy

Executive Board

Managing Partner of Hickey Lawyers, Mark’s experience spans 28 years with a primary focus on all aspects of property and development. Mark’s expertise covers all facets of the development process, including site acquisition, approvals, appeals and community title structuring.  Mark has a track record of successful consultation with multiple stakeholders and government. He has invaluable experience negotiating and drafting complex joint venture agreements, construction contracts and funding facilities.  Mark was the former Chair of Life Education Qld Inc, the State’s largest not for profit preventative health educator. Mark currently holds a committee position at the Mermaid Beach AEME Surf Life Saving Club, winner of the 2014 and 2015 Australian Surf Life Saving Club of the Year and winner of the 2017 Youth Development Club of the Year. Mark is actively involved in ensuring the ongoing delivery of the club’s lifesaving and surf sports programs.

Aaron Lavell

Managing Partner and founding member of WMS Chartered Accountants, Aaron has over 20 years experience in the accounting industry with his initial years at Ernst & Young. His primary areas of expertise lie in property related tax and GST issues, feasibility studies, acquisition, due diligence and independent expert reports. He heads the firm’s corporate finance team which holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). Aaron has a strong focus in the property sector acting for a number of property developers, retirement villages and major hotel operators owned by overseas investors. Aaron holds a licence with Real Estate Institute Queensland (REIQ) and is the former branch tax liaison for Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Gold Coast Tweed branch. He regularly presents to the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand on valuation and corporate topics and has lectured in property development finance at Griffith University.
