Janna Hrastovec,
It’s no secret that Mermaid Beach is coming of age. If the endless stable of restaurants and cafes means you’re a frequent visitor to the beachside suburb, then you might as well just live there, right? Yep, good idea. A luxury apartment in NEO will do just fine.
NEO is a new apartment building being developed by Cru Collective, which will soon cut a striking nine-storey figure on the Mermaid Beach skyline. Located on Peerless Avenue, the new project will feature one, two and three-bedroom apartments, which have been designed to perfectly capture the coastal environment. The apartments are priced from$459,000.
The NEO site is nestled on the border of Broadbeach, meaning The Star Gold Coast, Pacific Fair and the G:Link station are merely a stone’s throw away (um, we’re pretty sure you won’t need your car anymore). The tower, designed by award-winning HAL Architects, will also feature a ground-floor boutique coffee house, a private residential lobby, plus a roof top garden, entertainment retreat and exercise sky deck for some sun-kissed yoga. NEO is currently under construction, with completion pegged for late 2018.
