The scaffold removal to the south, south-west and eastern facades is complete down to level 5 and, as external cleaning and painting works are finalised, the scaffold will be completely removed to these facades during the month. The removal of the crane was complete on 31 July which allows the external finishing and completion of balconies along Musgrave Street, and by the end of August the builder hopes to commence external landscape works.
Internally, apartments are well advanced through to level 13, which has internal sheeting complete and joinery installation underway. The lift was complete in late July and commissioned for testing and use. Fire pumps have been placed and tanks are complete. Mechanical ductwork, fire sprinklers, hose reels and permanent electrical services are now also complete to the basement areas. Sur will be a stunning new entry statement to Kirra.
