The surf club, which is situated right in the heart of Palm Beach, has been named as Gold Coast’s Best Surf Club 2019.
Established in 1930, Palm Beach Surf Club is one of the longest standing surf clubs on the Gold Coast and the first in Australia to be certified as ocean friendly (by the Surfrider Foundation)
Single-use plastic free and actively involved with environmental organisations such as Beachcare and Surfrider Foundation, the club is a popular destination for whale-watching and sunset ocean views.
The club supports the work of the Palm Beach SLSC, a community organisation run by volunteers who are dedicated to protecting members of the public who swim or surf at Palm Beach. Palm Beach SLSC has a record of no loss of life between the flags.
Palm Beach locals have enjoyed the club for its great food and community spirit, with club management reporting that visits have risen by 20% over the past year.
The club boasts a newly renovated beachfront ‘coffee nook’, a dining room with floor to ceiling windows and outdoor areas, and a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
