Tis the season! As proud sponsors of Palm Beach (QLD) Surf Life Saving Club, Cru hit the sand last weekend with none other than Mr Claus, and…we’re sure it’s just coincidence that Mr Claus had an Irish accent similar to that of Palm Beach (QLD) SLSC Executive Manager, Mr Daragh Murphy.
“All of us here at Palm Beach Surf Club, are delighted to welcome Cru Collective on board as a valued Partner of our Surf Lifesaving Club”, says Executive Manager Mr Daragh Murphy.
“As a volunteer led organisation we are thrilled to see such a reputable company invest their faith in our Club. The financial support provided to our volunteers through this Partnership allow us to reinvest in training and equipment in support of our lifesaving efforts,” says Daragh.
A local Gold Coast property development and construction group, Cru has a 10+ year history in the industry and has amassed a diverse portfolio and a premier team of dedicated staff. Cru employ 20 staff and contract at least 80-100 consultants, trades and other local business’s at any one time during a projects delivery phase.
As the year is wrapping up the midrise apartments team at Cru Construct are finishing up the Acqua Palm Beach project on Third Avenue, and have also kicked off construction on the luxury beachfront project Siarn, located on the Palm Beach Esplanade.
With another project well underway in Currumbin, and some new exciting ventures in the works for 2020, the team at Cru will certainly be enjoying some down time at the club over the festive season.
“The day we met Daragh, The clubs Executive Manager, we knew it would be a good partnership decision for Cru”, says Manager Director Chris Bolger.
“A club, like any business, is only as good as its people, and the team down there are fantastic. Daragh’s enthusiasm for the club is contagious and their commitment toward sustainable initiatives and improving the club for members and visitors is ongoing. The club is a major asset for Palm Beach and as a local family business we’re proud to be members and supporting surf safety on our beaches.” says Chris.
