Siarn – Featured in Domain Homes Magazine, Sydney Morning Herald
The architect of a sleek new apartment project on an upmarket slice of Queensland’s Gold Coast found inspiration close to home.
“I spent much of my youth in Palm Beach, swimming in the creeks and ocean and enjoying its pristine landscape,” says BDA Architects director Darren Greenaway, who designed the nine-storey Siarn, Palm Beach North.
Developer Cru Collective’s brief to Palm Interiors director, Nyria King was intriguing: create a modern-day private beach retreat for Sean Connery and Ursula Andress. “It had to be classic, sophisticated, sexy and timeless,” King says.
Her response embraces warm-toned coastal colours and classic lines designed to stand the test of time.
Executive buyers and baby-boomer downsizers have been strongly represented among buyers in Siarn.
The project has coastal views with a popular surf break nearby.
